OUR ROOTS
This is a brief timeline about our company and how we became Ozark Technical Ceramics, Inc.
Eagle-Picher Industries, a high-tech materials company, creates Ceramic Department in 1977.
Staff of Scientists/Engineers + Technicians and Pilot Plant scale production equipment.
Mission: To develop new Advanced Ceramic products.
Corporate restructuring / decision to discontinue Oxide Ceramic effort in 1986.
OZARK founded to continue Oxide Ceramic production in February 1986.
Greg Lawrence and Kelly Meares - founders.
OZARK moves into new Webb City facility in October, 1986.
Expanded to a 15,000 sq. ft. building in 1999.
Expanded to a 16,250 sq. ft. in 2001.
